About this tool
A motif or logo on white or coloured paper needs a transparent background before it can sit on a fabric, a mockup or another design. This tool finds the background colour on the picture's edges (or the one you click), takes away every pixel of that colour that touches the background - so the insides of letters and flowers keep their colour - and softens the rim so no hard halo is left. Download a transparent PNG at full size. Everything happens in your browser: nothing is uploaded.

Which pictures does it work on?
Designs, motifs, logos, prints, clip art and product shots on a plain background - white, a colour or a scan of paper. The background colour is found on the edges by itself, or click on it.
Will holes inside the design stay?
With "Around the design" only the background that touches the edges goes - the inside of a letter or a flower keeps its colour. Choose "Everywhere" to take that colour away inside the design too.
The edges look rough or a halo stays - what do I do?
Raise "How close a colour" a little until the halo goes, and keep "Soft edges" on.
What do I download?
A transparent PNG at full size - put it on any colour, fabric or mockup.
Is my picture uploaded?
No. The background is taken away inside your browser, on your own computer.
